The EA is vital to creating and maintaining a healthy rapport with Board Members, senior staff and the community. This is a full time position. A college degree and at least 3 years experience as an administrative assistant (or related experience) is required. Salary is negotiable. Open filing with first consideration on July 7.         Maintenance Engineer. The full time Maintenance Engineer reports to the Director of Facilities Maintenance.  The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide service to all Boys and Girls Clubs facilities, consisting of maintenance and repairs. This employee will perform preventive maintenance of multiple sites consistent with the preventive maintenance program. The employee will provide reports related to general building maintenance tasks. 6 years plus documented experience and thorough knowledge of building trades. Great starting salary and benefits.

ADMIRALS MARINE ACADEMY - 6596 Nova Drive, Davie Florida 33317 (Next to McFatter Technical School) -  For additional Admiral's Marine Academy positions, please contact- Charles Barr, Interim Unit Director- 954-335-0890 - Electronics Instructor- Responsible for developing and effectively teaching youths (ages 13-20) in basic marine electronic instrumentation. Experience required in marine electronic installation, trouble-shooting and use. Previous teaching or training a plus. Part-time, M-Th, 5:00-9:00 pm ($15 to $20/hr.). Candidate must have a valid Florida Drivers License and pass our pre-employment screening.  Summer Positions- MARINE MECHANICS- 20 hrs./week, Salary: $20/hr. - Primary Function: Effectively teaching youths (ages 12-20) in basic Marine Mechanics. Special emphasis shall be placed upon providing positive hands-on experiences designed to introduce and inspire youths to careers and opportunities in the Marine Industry.  The Instructor will be required to teach and supervise up to 10 students per class.  Weekly classes (Monday – Thursday 9:30-11:30 am & 1:30-3:30 pm) will consist of two 2-hour classes each day. Qualifications:  At least 5-years in related field with teaching/training experience. Strong practical knowledge of marine technology and engine repair is required. Skills-   Instructor will be experienced in: repair and maintenance of two-, four-stroke cycle outboard engines; service, maintenance, and repair of boating accessories and trailers; boat electrical and ignition systems; fuel systems; power transfer systems; cooling systems; lubrication; drive systems; marine rigging; and fiber-glassing techniques.  Strong knowledge and practice of industry safety procedures and standards. Environmental and Working Conditions: Workshop classroom environment with relevant instructional materials and equipment. Physical and Mental Requirements: Position requires the ability to work with teens in a workshop classroom setting; reading; listening; talking and using manual dexterity skills.
