This holiday season was extra merry for several BGCBC families.

Through our Annual Adopt-a-Family Program, we were able to support 124 families that were struggling to make their children’s wishes come true on Christmas morning.  This holiday program matches generous donors in the community with families in our Clubs that need some extra help with gifts during this often stressful time of year.  Donors receive a family profile and holiday wish list to guide them as they shop for each child in the family.   The family is also given a gift card to Publix to spend toward their holiday meal.  We make sure that every child that attends the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County receives a gift for Christmas, whether they pick it out themselves or it is a surprise.  This year through the Adopt-a-Family program, 364 children were "adopted" and received a personal bag of gifts to ensure a very merry Christmas.

We would like to thank all of our generous donors who helped support our program this year, as well throughout years’ past.  Special thanks to all of our donors this year and especially those who went above and beyond for our youth.  They are Ed Morse Automotive Group, John Knox Village, Team National, Robert Half Staffing, Pine Crest School, University School and Florida Panther players and their families; Keith and Kristyn Yandle, Troy and Carmen Brouwer and Michael Haley.
