On December 19, 2018, 50 Club members from the Rick & Rita Case, Florence DeGeorge and Nan Knox Clubs came together to assist The Florida Panthers and Harvest Drive with creating boxes of non-perishable food items to be distributed to families in need during the holidays. Members were partnered with staff from the Panthers and Harvest Drive and were given a check list of items to include in each box. Members took on the responsibility of gathering the items from each station and made sure each box contained the correct items. At the completion of the event, boxes were divided among local organizations with families in need. Three of our local clubs were recipients of boxes from the drive: Nan Knox, Reitman and Lauderhill.
At the conclusion of the drive, members got the chance to play on the basketball court which was set up for the Orange Bowl basketball tournament.
