COX MEDIA LABOR OF LOVE CHRISTMAS PARTY

On December 20, Cox Media group Miami, home to radio stations 99Jamz, Hot 105, Hits 97.3 and Easy 93.1, converted their building into a Holiday Fun Zone and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County were on the guest list.

The on-air talent and management team from each station rolled out the red carpet for 100 kids from our Reitman and Huizenga clubs and treated them like royalty.  Each floor hosted a different experience starting with an activity bus in the parking lot; cookie decorating; face painting and lunch.  To top off the afternoon, our club members participated in a dance party with Santa and the Grinch in the Penthouse, with DJ Hercules spinning Christmas songs on the turntables. 

The event was organized by the Embrace Girls Foundation and Aetna Insurance.  Each member received a wrapped gift, school supplies and a bag of food to take home.  And to make it even more special, our very own Coach Jamal Mickens, who works at the Huizenga Club, designed a special t-shirt for the event. 

Everyone had a blast and went home with an armful of goodies!  We want to thank Cox Media, the Embrace Girls Foundation and Aetna Insurance for inviting our Club Members to a fun afternoon and making their holidays brighter!
