Florida Panthers Art Exhibit Partnership
On August 19, the Art Program at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County took a different kind of flight! The Florida Panthers, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, debuted a new mural in Terminal 2 at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport, called “Territory Takeoff.” The unique art wall showcases colorful illustrations of the Florida panther, our state’s official animal and the Florida Panthers namesake and mascot. All fifteen of the pieces were drawn by members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and will be on display through January 2020.
The Florida Panthers and the Florida Panthers Foundation have been huge supporters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County for many years. This art exhibit is another way of showing their support not only for the organization as a whole, but for the youth of Broward County who get to benefit from participating in exciting experiences such as these. Everyone in attendance agreed that we have some very talented artists among our Club members. Thank you BGCBC Board Member Sean McCaffrey, COO of the Florida Panthers and to the entire Florida Panthers organization for making this happen for our kids!
