The Publix Super Market Charities 10th Annual 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County
The Publix Super Market Charities 10th Annual 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County took place on May 10, 2018 at the beautiful Signature Grand in Davie, Florida. 850 community & business leaders came together to celebrate outstanding women who have excelled in leadership roles in the business, community and philanthropic fields. The red carpet themed event put the spotlight on each honoree as they enjoyed the night with friends and family while raising funds for BGCBC.

A special ‘thank you’ to Victoria Duke’s Academy of Glam who provided the honorees with complimentary hair and makeup.
The committee was led by Co-Chairs Linda Buccilli, and Paula Friona. This year’s committee members did an amazing job. Thanks to Diane Wilmot, Denise A. Diillio, Erica Stowers, Norma Guerrero, Pam Moskowitz, Mary Robinson, and Lois Marino.
One of the many highlights of the evening was the great speech made by our Youth of the Year, Eric Lockwood. JetBlue Airways surprised him by awarding him two (2) airfare vouchers to anywhere the airline travels. Eric was amazed and grateful for the kind gesture!
The evening culminated with the Honoree runway walk. Each Outstanding Woman had the opportunity to walk the runway hand-in-hand with a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. Many described the experience as unforgettable; they were honored to be recognized for the impact that each has made in their fields, as well as proud that the collective contributions that they raised will help make a difference in the lives of the 12,300 youth we serve.
